This 1982 Chevrolet El Camino was the subject of a custom build that was carried out following the current owner’s acquisition in 2023. Work included repainting the body in coral, installing 17″ Milanni wheels, QA1 rear coilovers, a Grant steering wheel, AutoMeter instruments, and a B&M shifter in addition to retrofitting a 383ci stroker V8 equipped with a Holley carburetor, a Pro Comp intake manifold, a Nitrous Express nitrous oxide system, and a custom exhaust system. Shifting is through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, and the truck is further equipped with power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a Kenwood head unit, and power windows. Details include a spray-on bedliner, dual side mirrors, a drop-down tailgate, and bright finished bumpers, wheel arch trim, and rocker panel moldings. Chrome-finished 17″ Milanni wheels are wrapped in 245/45 Toyo Proxes 4 tires. The truck rides on QA1 adjustable rear coilovers and is equipped with power steering along with power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The front sway bar endlinks have been replaced. The bench seat is upholstered in dark blue vinyl and features a fold-down center armrest. Appointments include a B&M shifter, a Kenwood Bluetooth-capable head unit, and a heater.

The Grant steering wheel sits ahead of AutoMeter instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 1,700 miles, which is said to represent the distance traveled since the completion of the build

The replacement 383ci stroker V8 was installed as part of the build and is equipped with a Holley carburetor, a Pro Comp intake manifold, a Mooneyes coolant temperature readout, an HEI distributor, billet drive pulleys, and short-tube headers. A Nitrous Express nitrous oxide system has been installed, and the bottle is stowed behind the bench seat

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction rear end. The custom exhaust system features an H-pipe and electronically actuated Quick Time Performance cut-outs
